Beginning in early 2003, Midroc performed basic design and approved the detailed design of a concrete crude oil tank farm in Gurreh, Iran.
The consultant work was procured by the Iranian construction company Sabir, and the end user was the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).

The tank farm included office space, workshops, technical installations and facilities for treatment of waste water and generation of inert gas, etc.

The plant was designed and built to store crude oil for export via pipeline to the Khark island oil terminal in the Persian Gulf.
